The point availability is the probability that a system (or component) will be operational (up and running) at any random time, t. Note that unlike reliability plots for analytical systems, the point availability measure incorporates maintainability information.

Point Availability Plot

The Point Availability plot shows the system’s point availability over time. The point availability is the probability that a system (or component) will be operational (up and running) at any random time, t. Note that unlike reliability plots for analytical systems, the point availability measure incorporates maintainability information.
