Short description of the situations when you might use this design type.

A Box-Behnken RSM design is used when the few important factors (<5) have been identified from a previous factorial design. It does not include combinations with all the factors at their highest or lowest level. Therefore, it is often used when such combinations are prohibited due to safety concerns or test equipment constraints. This design can be used to determine the optimal settings for each factor.

Box-Behnken Response Surface Method (RSM) Designs

A Box-Behnken RSM design is used when the few important factors (<5) have been identified from a previous factorial design. It does not include combinations with all the factors at their highest or lowest level. Therefore, it is often used when such combinations are prohibited due to safety concerns or test equipment constraints. This design can be used to determine the optimal settings for each factor.
