The life comparison and stress-strength tools include the Target Reliability Parameter Estimator, which allows you to explore how you could attempt to change one of the parameters in order to meet a specified target reliability. The plot and reliability estimate will be based on the altered distributions, and therefore may be appropriate only within the context of your specific "what-if” analysis.
The Target Reliability tool is divided into a target estimation sheet and control panel. The top part of the sheet is the Target Estimation Inputs area, where you provide the best, most likely and worst case estimates for various factors involved in the production and sale of the product. The bottom part of the sheet contains the plot that you select to generate from your inputs.
